Faculty 

The Course is mentored by Mr ChetanPanchamia, He has the experience of being 17 years in the markets starting from front office to fundamentals research before moving to techincals side and specializing in options trading and is presently a full time Professional trader focusing on index options. He has written various articles for Moneycontrol.com and has given lectures in various institutes like IIFT and St. Xavier's College. 

Certification

Type of Examination 

Under this course the participant will be required to appear for the internal examination and NCFM examination. Please note that the participant will get the Certificate of Completion after successfully clearing both the examinations.

The procedure for the examinations are:

Internal Examination: This is an online examination hosted on the website of Elearnmarkets.com. 
Note:  The certification test can be appeared by the candidate only once.

Duration: 1.5 hours.
Pattern of questions: 50 multiple choice based question of 2 marks each.
Qualifying marks: 50

NSE Academy certification in Financial Market (NCFM) Examination:This examination is hosted by NSE for which you need to go to the NSE approved test centre. The participants have to appear for the NCFM Options Trading Strategies Module, preferably within 45 days after the completion of the module/ course.

Other details:

Duration: 2 hours.
Pattern of questions: 60 multiple choice based question of 2 marks each.
Qualifying marks: 60% , There is negative marking in this module

Exam Fees:

The exam fees for the NCFM Option Trading Strategy Module are Rs 2,006 (two thousands six only) inclusive of GST to be paid by the student. 

• How much profit can I take out after doing this course?

• This is subjective to every person who completes this course. It totally depends on you and your capabilities to make the best out of the knowledge and practical experience gained from this course  along with the trading capital you bring in for trading  as option strategies are a  mix of  spreads where( buying and selling of options are done of different strikes ) and selling of options require margins which is equal to that of buying or selling futures.

• Do I require basic knowledge about the market before taking up this course? And if yes, which course should I do to get my basics in place?

• Yes, basic knowledge about the market, its components, how it works, etc., is a must. If the basics are not clear then you won’t be able to cope with the classes and make the best use of the knowledge in the real life.

  To learn about the basics about the financial markets, you could first do our course - Certification in Foundation of Capital Market which will help you to build the foundation before reaching the heights.

• What are the software used by the faculty? Will it be chargeable for us? Will we get the access of these software for a lifetime?

• Softwares used by the faculty are:

  • Myfno
  • Traders lounge.

  You will be shown how to access and use of these software during the training only (1 month). Some of them are chargeable whereas some have a free trial period and others are free. Once the training is completed, you would have to pay for these softwares for personal use.

• Do we have theory classes also for Option Strategies course?

• Yes, this course is entirely based on fundamentals of options where the theoretical knowledge is punched with  practical knowledge and learning it in the live market setup which give you a great exposure about the market and how Options Trading is done in real life.

• Are there any additional study materials apart from the videos. If so how can I access them?

• The study material includes various PPTs, books, others PDFs. All of these will be provided to you by us once the classes commence. Our support team is there to assist you for the same.

• If I miss any of the live classes, are the recordings available for me?

• Yes, if you have miss the live session or class then you will get the recordings for it once the class is completed.

• The trading setups are fixed rules where the trade is undertaken where there is a certain edge and a favourable risk rewards ratio , a pullback trade where the trend is up and indexes retreat downwards to a support area is a good example for a trade where the risk(stop loss ) is small compared to potential rewards.
