Kredent Capital Market Academy was chosen as a nominee under the “Best Financial Training Institute” category through a competitive process for the respective category by the committee members of the Gurukul Awards.
The award ceremony was held on August 8, 2009 at The Ball Room, The Oberoi Grand. The principals, teachers and students of some of the most reputed schools, colleges and other private institutions in Kolkata were present at the ceremony. The awards were presented by eminent dignitaries like Rev. Fr. P. C. Mathews (former Principal, St. Xavier’s College), Mr. Wasim Kapoor (a famous contemporary painter), etc.
Mr. Joe Chrimal (President, SERVE) presented the Gurukul Award for the Best Financial Training Institute to Mr. Vivek Bajaj (Director, Kredent Academy) who, in his humble thanks giving speech, acknowledged that the blessings and well wishes of his mentors were the reasons for his success. Mr. Bajaj recited a famous shlok, “guru govind dou khade, kaake laagun paaye…” in appreciation of all his mentors. He said that although the award was both an acknowledgement of his effort and a huge achievement for his Academy, yet it was just the beginning of his endeavor to educate the society at large and that it will provide him with enough impetus to strive to perform better in the future.
