Free Seminar on International Finance Certifications

Kredent Academy, in association with Pristine Careers, Mumbai, organized a seminar on International Certificate Programs in Finance on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Bharatiya Bhasha Parishad, Kolkata. The event was designed to create/ spread the awareness of various internationally recognized qualifications in Finance. The objective behind this seminar was to discuss the scope, relevance & career prospects of International Qualifications in Finance like Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®), Financial Risk Management (FRM®), Professional Risk Management (PRM®) and Certified Market Technician (CMT®) and the related career opportunities in India.

The enlightening seminar was designed to explain each of these courses in detail and clarify any/all doubts from qualified professionals having valuable experience in their respective fields. It was a great opportunity for the participants to talk to these professionals one-on-one and understand the career flowchart in the field of Finance. The event showcased some of the prominent faces from the industry. The speakers included Mr. Vivek Bajaj – Director, Kredent Group, Mr. Pawan Prabhat – Director, Pristine, Mr. Jitesh Agarwal – President, Lohia Securities Ltd., Mr. Dharam C. Sethia – Options Trader cum Faculty, Kredent Academy, and Mr. Rahul Sonthalia – Fundamental Research Analyst cum Faculty, Kredent Academy. People from various walks of life and with varied academic/ professional backgrounds attended the seminar.

Under-graduates/ graduates of premier B-schools and working professionals of diverged fields had visited the seminar and had very actively participated in the same which was evident by the constant questions that were asked to the speakers at regular intervals. Although the event was scheduled for 3 hours, the same lasted for over 5 hours, signifying the interest of both the participants & the content of discussion. With over 125 candidates attending the seminar and considering the energetic response that was exhibited, Kredent Finance has now decided to conduct such seminars on a regular basis to help both students and professionals to find the right direction in the field of finance.
